Singapore Garden Festival 2012: Floral Extravaganza (Creative Fashion Show)
Client: Singapore Garden Festival
An exotic floral fashion show presented in a story style with a pro environment message, packaged with dance, music and singing starring the mesmerising Leena Salim. I conceptualised and produced the 20 minute show and even had a hand at designing some of the pieces. Can you spot the elements of Gold, Wood, Water, Earth and Fire?

A hand hygiene video for the National University Hospital - the angle is more emotive and I tried to use slow motion and a luminous hand print effect for the transmission sequence.




Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore Corporate Video
Client: Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS)
A corporate video for ICPAS, which I produced, directed and edited. Using an opening concept of living one's dreams, the video showcases what a CPA Singapore will stand to benefit from, ending on an inspirational note of dreams that can become reality through ICPAS. Some compositing & FX work was done for this project as well.

I conceptualised, produced, directed and edited a series of online Internet ads which features a cool dude and his cool HP Envy with Beats Audio. Viewers will see crazy things that happen in the office when he turns on his Beats Audio. There were some green screen compositing for this project.

A video about My SP Memories, an initiative by the Singapore Poly Alumni Relations Office. Showcasing old school stories of alumni members, the video is a trip back in time to the days when social activity did not mean Facebook, but rather activities like the Poly50 run, dinner at Sarabat stalls, band rehearsals and talentime contests. I produced, directed and edited the video.

A series of videos played during the Community Service Order 15th Anniversary Celebrations, it showcases the various elements of Community Service such as the kind of service probationers go through, how it impacts them and those they help. A highlight was the creation of a CSO rap as a refreshing way to talk about the milestones of the organisation. I wrote and arranged the track and it was performed by talented staff members. Some compositing & FX work was done for this project as well.

Event video coverage of the World Orchid Conference 2011 held only the second time in Singapore in 50 years. Video highlights included a special preview of the Gardens By the Bay at the Marina Waterfront.

A video targeted at graduating students to donate to the Needy fund to help students requiring financial assistance. I produced, directed and edited this project, which also stars a group of telegenic students.




OneKey Instructional Videos
Client: Assurity Trusted Solutions (Part of Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore) | RCA
Together with Assurity and Rosemary Chng & Associates, I created a series of instructional videos for roll out of a new token for improved security for banking transactions on the go. Footage was featured in the local news.




cINE65 Award Event Nomination Videos
Client: cINE65 | Fly Entertainment
A short film contest, in which I created the nomination category clips for the award show based on the look and feel of collaterals and branding.

A music video played on the Singapore International Foundation's annual dinner. Some 3D elements like a yarn ball with the earth superimposed, cart wheel, spot light and light bulb were created in Cinema4D and composited with milestone photographs.




Museum Roundtable: Meet The Members
Client: National Heritage Board
A 12 minute video featuring more than 50 museums and galleries, supported by a telegenic cast. The video took more than 15 days to film, and was developed into a commemorative video disc and footage was featured in the news.




The Circle Line Musical
Client: Land Transport Authority | Fly Entertainment
Together with Fly Entertainment, I scripted, directed and composed a 25 minute musical starring Irene Ang, Chua Enlai and Alaric Tay, with a special cameo by Mr Yam Ah Mee. The musical managed to featured on the front page for some local dailies and I was interviewed by press on the experience.

The Chinese Theatre Festival 2011: 唱•戏 Tell Tales, Sing Songs
Client: The Theatre Practice
Another memorable collaboration with the Theatre Practice, this was part of a month long inaugural chinese theatre festival and Tell Tales Sing Songs was the first ticketed show of the festival. This show was based on background projection and I created the animation and graphics for it.




HP National Day Parade (Behind the Scenes)

I was involved in producing two case study videos for HP, which provided the technical expertise for the 2011 National Day Parade.




P&G Asia PS Summit 2011

I was involved in creating presentation slides, video animations and cartoons for the 2 day conference held in China. Cinema4D & After Effects were used in creating some business model graphics. This was the second year I was involved in P&G's Asia PS Summit.

I haven't done TV for some time and to get back to be line producer for this series was a bittersweet experience. While I was happy to see familiar faces again, boy was I glad I'm no longer part of the factory process!

You Are The Reason

A musical I wrote, directed and composed a theme song for starring probationers and officers. We rehearsed for a good 3 months and I'm glad to report, we all had a great time! Pity we can't show the colourful dance numbers and costumes as probationers' identities need to be protected. But you can hear the theme song here!

The Strategist Internet Programme Series

My first time working with the sweet folks from Exquisite Magazine. Hosted by media celebrity Edmund Chen, it's an internet programme styled like 'The Apprentice' for the magazine. Three teams working on business solutions for three real companies. I produced, directed and edited the videos.




Nex Mall Launch

A tongue-in-cheek introduction to Nex shopping mall, working with artistes from Fly Entertainment as over-the-top characters interacting with guests. The video was also played on thier official opening. I directed and edited the video.

I conceptualised the Singapore HeritageFest opening combining aerial silk and live precessions. I also conceptualised and produced a series of Heritage Flash Mobs and was interviewed by the morning news show about it. I also composed the flash mob theme based on the National Heritage Board's criteria of a song that features 'The More We Get Together'.
